Jonáš HÁJEK

Jonáš Hájek (born 12th November 1984 in Prague) is a Czech poet and musician. He attended a secondary music school and is now studying musicology at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague. He plays the cello. In 2007 he won the Jiří Orten prize for his collection Suť (along with Petra Hůlová, who won the prize for her novel Umělohmotný třípokoj).

At present (2008) he is living in Prague.
