Poetry
Jakub Řehák’s verses speak about the world we know. Their biggest strength is the concreteness of their view, their unwavering interest in the sensory objectivity of things. However, contemplating objects isn’t the sign of a disinterested spectator. On the contrary, Řehák is permanently searching for a point of contact with the physical properties of the material world he is describing, because it is those properties which are the most significant.
