Estab­lished in 2012, Visegrád literary residencies provide for stays and lit­er­ary events addressed to writ­ers of fic­tion and non-fiction, poets, essay­ists, crit­ics as well as lit­er­ary trans­la­tors, pub­li­cists and jour­nal­ists from V4 coun­tries. The pro­gram sup­ports the work and mobil­ity of tal­ented lit­er­ary res­i­dents and aims at cre­at­ing a plat­form for literary exchanges and supports the devel­op­ment and pro­mo­tion of V4 lit­er­a­ture.

Residencies in the Czech Republic are organised by the Arts and Theatre Institute.
