Czech Republic’s showcase at the 2011 Bologna Children’s Book Fair

The list of the publishers is following: Albatros Media, Brio, Euromedia Group, Mladá fronta, Pierot, Slovart and Fermata which will present its digital printing.

The main exposition is accompanied by an overview of new books and awarded titles in the field of Czech children’s book publishing alongside an exhibition entitled 5 from Bohemia, which introduces five Czech authors – illustrators - of so-called “picture books”. Aside from the aforementioned books there will also be objects, large-format images and puppets courtesy of Petr Nikl, Dagmar Urbánková, Tereza Říčanová, Alžběta Skálová and David Böhm.

The Czech presentation at the Bologna book fair has been financially supported by the Czech Ministry of Culture. The production duties are handled by Book World, an Association of Czech Booksellers and Publishers company.
