Italian poetry bestiary includes Czech authors

An exhibition of contemporary poetry manuscripts entitled Animalidiversi is taking place between 25 October and 6 November 2011 in Milan. The impetus behind the poetry bestiary came from Eloisa Guarracino. Four Czech poets are featured in the title.

Among the approx. 300 manuscripts are works by the following authors:  Wislawa Szymborska, Yves Bonnefoy, Edoardo Sanguineti, Willem Van Toorn, Géza Szöcs, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Jaques Dupin, Ruth Fainlight, Fuad Rifka, Zhai Yongming, Bracha Seri or Mukul Dahal. The works of the featured Czech poets – Wanda Heinrichová, Eva Košinská, Petr Hruška and Pavel Řezníček – are also included in the exhibition anthology (Animalidiversi, Nomos Edizioni, 2011) in Antonio Parente's translation.

The exhibition is held at the Foyer di Spazio Oberdan, Viale Vittorio Veneto 2.
