The Writers‘ Guild carries on
Following the resignation of the former chair, the poet Vladimír Křivánek, the opposite might have seemed to be the case. The filmmaker Tomáš Magnusek (1984, Náchod) has been appointed as the new chair of the guild.
The Writers‘ Guild is a professional organisation which gathers Czech and Moravian writers, literary theorists and critics. Established in December 1989, the Guild has been hit with lack of funding in the last couple of years.
