Kees Mercks

Kees Mercks is a Dutch Bohemist, teacher and translator of Hrabal and other 20th century writers. For many years, he was based at the University of Amsterdam. He is one of the founding fathers of Dutch Bohemian studies and his legacy is kept alive by his students.
