Czech and comparative studies scholar. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Zagreb in comparative literature and Czech language and literature (2008). He also defended his PhD thesis at this faculty (2014). He has had scholarships for universities in the Czech Republic (Charles University in Prague, Masaryk University in Brno, Palacký University in Olomouc, the Czech Academy of Sciences Institute for Czech Literature) and has participated in various academic conferences in Croatia and abroad. He publishes literary criticism and articles on Czech literature for several Croatian journals and online. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts’ Department of Slavonic Studies in Zagreb, where he teaches Czech literature. He is an editor for the literary journal Artikulacije and a member of the organizational committee for the Galovićeva jesen literary festival. He translates from Czech.
