It’s a summer’s day after a storm, perhaps in Prague, maybe this year or next. Two women, Lola and Marta, a mother and daughter, carry a heavy load and take turns supporting each other before each going off their own way. Lola is sweet sixteen, though she doesn’t appear so sweet. Marta has the feeling that when she stops flirting, life will come to an halt. Both of them are bitterly missing someone who has vanished out of their lives and has yet not come back. Esterházy!

At the hotel where Marta works, a funeral reception is being prepared and garlic on toast is being made in the kitchen. Meanwhile in the newly-wed suite the Indian bride has got all confused and is mixing fried eggs with orange juice… Will we have gathered enough clues by nightfall to reconstruct the disappearance of the missing man? And who the heck was Esterházy?
