More than three hundred pages long and full of illustrations, the book captures the small everyday experiences of an artist fascinated and obsessed with the United States (and its specific culture, Americana). The mix of richly illustrated text, detailed maps and comics passages make it an atmospheric and engaging account of what America personifies for Jindřich Janíček and of what this gifted artist and storyteller has always found appealing and terrifying about it.
