In each category, there are three finalists, with the exception of the prose and blog category, which both have six finalists. Below are the nominees for prose, poetry and book for children and young adults. The nominees in the prose category this year include Anna Bolavá, who won the award in 2016 for her previous novel, and Petra Soukupová, who is also nominated in the children’s category. The complete list of nominees can be found on the Magensia Litera website. The winners will be announced on 4 April at the National Theatre New Scene in Prague. The ceremony will be broadcast live by Czech Television.
