The Czech stand, organised by the Czech Ministry of Culture and the Moravian Library in Brno, will be in hall 4. The stand’s architecture will be based on Czech functionalism and will feature the newest award-winning Czech books, including the winners of the Golden Ribbon award for children’s literature. Czech authors will also take part in a number of events in the Leipzig liest programme. Jaroslav Rudiš, whose Národní třída (National Avenue) was recently published in German, Petr Stančík, Milena Slavická, Jiří Dvořák and Jiří Padevět will read and discuss their latest books.
