With this novel Petra Hůlová shows a new side of her talent, that she already displayed in her former books. This time she plunges in the life of a prostitute, which she describes in a very frank and open manner. The book immediately stormed the best-seller list in the Czech Republic. In 2007 the novel was awarded with the Jiří Orten Prize. In addition, the book has been adapted into a play.
