Every year, the Czech Ministry of Culture awards grants to support the translation and publication of Czech literature abroad. There are two deadlines: on 15th April and 15th November.

The next deadline for translation grants from the Ministry of Culture is on 15th November, 2017 for books to be published in 2018. The Ministry of Culture newly offers grants for copyright costs, printing, design, promotion and excerpt translations, as well as translation costs.
