Dreams From Beyond was edited and produced by Czech author Julie Nováková for the 2016 Eurocon science fiction convention in Barcelona (4th-6th November). On her website, Nováková provides the following description of the collection: “Showcasing some of the best current Czech SF authors, Dreams From Beyond will take you from the stellar pastures of long-gone mythical creatures through warring future cities and strange alien worlds to the mysteries within ourselves.”

In a review for Speculative Fiction in Translation, Rachel Cordasco writes “Let me tell you, this collection does not disappoint. Like any successful anthology, it features a diverse array of stories, featuring everything from space travel to dragons, alien viruses to worm holes that are actually worms, and much more.”
